Daniel Weber

Lawyer for Migration Law

Profile

I have specialised in migration law since my training and represent you out of conviction before authorities and in courts.

I studied in London, Cologne and Berlin. I completed my legal training at the Berlin Court of Appeal and have been working in migration law for several years. I volunteer with the Lesbian and Gay Association Germany (LSVD), the Refugeee Law Clinic Berlin and JUMEN e.V. and am a member of the Republican Lawyers’ Association (RAV). My focus is on the rights of refugees from the queer community. I also speak English and French.

Queer Rights

In my work, the rights of refugees from the queer community are particularly important to me. Experiences of discrimination can have a negative impact on relationships with authorities. Special protection applies both in the asylum procedure and in the procedure for residence.
I am committed to a fair procedure and the protection of your rights.

Costs

I will gladly inform you in advance about the expectable fees for my work.

Depending on the scope of the consultation, a fee between 100 and 150 euros will apply.

For representation before authorities and courts I usually charge the statutory fees (Rechtsanwaltsvergütungsgesetz – RVG). For the proceedings at the authority as well as in court, this is a little more than 500 Euro respectively, in case of an oral hearing in court, an additional fee applies. In more complex cases, a higher fee may be charged. I will inform you about this individually before accepting the mandate.
